Welcome to GOOD SOIL.

The internet has become known as a shallow place - filled with sound bites, pithy sayings that don’t hold weight, angry comment sections, and watered-down thoughts on nuanced issues. I think the internet CAN be a shallow place — but I don’t think it has to be. We are, of course, people with the capacity to engage thoughtfully and hold tensions kindly, but the pace and space of online life doesn’t often create conditions that help us do that.

GOOD SOIL is all about creating the right conditions.

Here, we’ll dig deep into the stuff that's good and true — and we’ll all be better for it. We'll be talking about everything from theology to therapy, the church calendar to critical thinking. What you can expect: weekly content, incredible guests, and a lot more. I bring my best work to this space because I believe it matters. I want to create a place for us to slow down and sit with things that are important, to deepen our roots into who we are and what we hold true.

When we get into good soil, we are nourished. We grow. We thrive.
