#makeMondaykind: An Introduction

Last week’s giveaway was so much fun for me – not just because I got to share some of my favorite products with y’all (congrats to Lauren from Texas for winning!), but because I saw you guys get on board. You’re ready to share kindness & kick start your week with a dose of encouragement. It’s the best.

The #makeMondaykind hashtag has been bouncing around in my head for so long. The beginning of a new week can be so hard, but it also has the power to set the tone of the entire week. It has the power to be a beautiful day instead of a dreaded day. So I’ve been thinking. Why not start a movement to encourage us to be kinder than ever on this day, to others & to ourselves? (New to this & want to join in? Click here.)

A hashtag isn’t a massive undertaking. It’s just a quiet reminder, a little blip on a screen. But it could change things. There’s nothing I’d love more than to see this little community grow & grow – to see #makeMondaykind popping up all over social media. We can promote kindness in two seconds. That’s the beauty of the digital age.

Nothing would make me happier than having you join me in this little kindness movement. Maybe we can turn it into a big kindness movement. All it takes is 1) being kind on Monday, to yourself, to a friend, to a stranger; and 2) posting about it on social media using the hashtag #makeMondaykind. It’s that simple! To learn more about the heart behind making Monday kind, click here.

You guys are just the best crew on the internet – and I hope your Monday is the best, too. So honored that you visit this little corner.

xo,

Jessica
